I am truly a scrap-a-holic and am passionate about scrapbooking. I had been scrapbooking for
about two years when I discovered TLC at a convention and was drawn into the booth by the great papers- who can resist adding more to their paper collection? At the booth, I overheard one of the demonstrators explaining the consultant program to someone else, and instantly said "I'm in!"
I had a six month old baby and a two year old when I joined TLC and I also work a few days a week as a physical therapist so I did not plan on doing parties or building a team. But, once my friends
saw my catalog, they wanted to hostess parties so I decided to give it a try as a business. I am the kind of person who loves a challenge so when TLC introduced the Fast Track program, I really started focusing on growing my business.
Since I have been with TLC, I am amazed by the friendships that I have found through scrapping. Some of my closest friends now were once hostesses or party guests. This hobby (I do not really think of it as a hobby- more like a lifestyle) is so much more than just creating layouts- the time
spent at crops, retreats, conventions and parties brings women together and gives us time
together to talk, share our lives and just build our friendships. And I absolutely love when my boys
lie on the floor to look through their scrapbooks- what memories they will have from their childhood compared to shoe boxes full of assorted pictures like most of us grew up with!
My main goal in life is to try to follow God's plan for me and to stay open to whatever that might be.
I know that for now, a big part of that plan is for me to be at home with my young children. I also believe that part of His plan is for me to share my love of scrapbooking with others- to teach them how to begin preserving their memories and how to discover the creative side of themselves. I truly enjoy doing this through parties and events as well as through encouraging my team to get more involved with TLC as a business. I could not do this without the support of my family- my mom, dad, sister and brother-in-law and my boys, who think that everyone at my home parties come just to
look at their pictures!
